What herding dog is best for first time owner?

I have been researching many breeds of dogs over the last couple weeks as I am looking to get a dog when I move out after I am finished college. I will be living with my boyfriend and at least one of us will be home most of the time. I have narrowed it down to a few breeds; Rough Collie, Border Collie, Australian Sheepdog or Shetland Sheepdog. But I don't know which would be best. I need a dog who will be easy to train, loyal, not too loud, wont bite, is good with other dogs/animals and healthy. I know that the breed standard doens't include every dog, all dogs are inique. But if someone could tell me from personal or other expirience which breed they feel is best for a first time herding dog owner. I will also be looking into affordable obiedience, agility or flyball classes too. Thanks
