How can I get my dog to be more fun?

I have a english sheepdog/terrier at home and she is pretty boring. She is 15, and she lays on the couch all day and pretty much sleeps. The only time she gets off is to lay on the floor or BARK. The barking is crazy! Its not my fault cause im only a kid, it's my grandparents fault for not teaching her when she was little. How can I gte her to be more fun? Oh yeah, we can't get another dog until she dies. Bless Ya.
