Hi. Here are ideas that might help you out are a bullet that miss her heart and left her injury, bash her head hardly that left her unconscious then she'll wake up later in three months, a blade miss her heart and land on her shoulder instead, grab her arm too tightly that left her bruises and push the pot toward her and it land on someone else who end up in coma. Hope that it will help you out and it'll be best if you research it by watch tv etc to give you some ideas from that because it always work on me. Good luck with writing. :)
