Is it normal for the motor to get hot on the MX650 Razor Dirt Bike?

I was outside riding my dirtbike for a little while, and when I finished riding and turned it off, I felt the motor and noticed it was hot. i wasnt riding my dirtbike for very long.... Is the motor supposed to heat up after riding? Is it normal? By the way, the dirtbike isnt ran by gas. Its battery powered. It goes 17 miles per hour.
