Could anyone answer some questions about these breeds?

When looking to re-home a dog it is essential that you choose a dog suitable for your home environment and lifestyle. About the only one of these breeds that you will find easily in a Rescue centre is GSD. The only one i would rate as suitable for an apartment dweller would be the Dachshund and to be blunt i would hesitate to recommend one of them from a shelter as many can be quite snappy with children.
